Crack Filling
Premier Asphalt will be crack filling the road today (9/14/23). Please be mindful of the crew while driving in and out of the neighborhood.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Holiday Parking & Weather
As always, and especially during this busy holiday season, the board would like to review the parking regulations. The City of Berea which includes Trailhead has the following:
1. There is no parking on the fire hydrant side of the street at any time.
2. There is no overnight parking on the street. Cars must be in the garage, driveway or the parking pad. We expect that many people will be entertaining for the holidays, and that means that cars will be parked on the street. It is the homeowners responsibility to make sure that your guests park only on the non fire hydrant side of the road.
Our streets are narrow, and will not allow emergency vehicles or any vehicles through if double parked. The police will ticket illegally parked vehicles, and/or will have them towed. It is also important that you follow the posted speed limit.
With the inclement weather predicted, plowing will be an issue…please be thoughtful and aware of our plowing company to allow them to do their job.
We all want to have a safe and joyous holiday, so we appreciate your cooperation in this matter not only at the holidays, but through out the year.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Sincerely,
Trailhead Village Board of Directors
Holiday Parking
Just a reminder, overnight parking on the street is prohibited in the city of Berea and also in Trailhead Village. Driveways and parking pads must be utilized.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July.
Plow Damage Seeding Repair

Spring Clean up & Mulching
Green Horizons will be working on and off in the neighborhood in the next few weeks to begin spring clean up, bed preparation, plow damage repair, and mulching and initial fertilization. Remember, mulch will only be applied to the front beds of your home. If you would like mulch on the sides and/or back of your property at your cost, you must call Green Horizons to arrange for that service. Green Horizons also is offering to apply river bed gravel (#34) to the sides and/or back of your property at your cost, which again can be arranged through Jim Folds.
crack FILLING of road
Hello Residents,
Premier Asphalt and Paving Company is planning on being in the neighborhood (WEATHER PERMITTING) to crack fill the road tomorrow, Friday September 4, 2020. As many of you are aware, they will crack fill and sand at the same time as they move throughout the neighborhood. Please keep the road clear of vehicles during this time, and please be mindful of the workers as they will maintain traffic.
New Trailhead HOA Board and Reminders
Dear Residents,
The Trailhead HOA mailbox was opened Saturday, August 22nd at 6pm and the ballots were collected and counted by Brad M. and Pat C. The newly elected Board members are Kim H. and Paul M. They join Deb K. and re-elected Board members Mark A. and Jack P. to round out the Board. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Dottie B. and Jimi R. for their many volunteer hours serving the Trailhead HOA and the nominees who volunteered to be on the Board.
The positions on the Board will be determined at the first Board meeting and you will be notified.
We have an opening on the Design Review Committee. If anyone is interested in filling the position, please contact the Board at your earliest convenience.
One question was raised regarding resident notification as to when fertilizer is scheduled. The scheduling of the fertilizer [4-5 times per year] is dependent on the weather. There is a two week window for each application. Furthermore, it is a subcontractor of our landscaper, Green Horizons, who applies the fertilizer. These factors make it challenging to obtain definite dates for the fertilization.
A couple of reminders. First, don’t forget to leave your trash and recycling cans outside next Friday, August 28th, after they have been emptied, for pick up by Republic. The new contractors, Kimble, will begin service the following week and our new pick up day is Monday. Second, as the General Election approaches, the bylaws of the Trailhead HOA ban all visible political signs on lawns, garage doors or in windows. Finally, we are emailing this notification to you because of the current issues with the delayed USPS mail. You may have noticed it took seven days for your ballots to be delivered. Please take a moment to RSVP your receipt of this correspondence, so we know we have your current email address.
Notice of Annual Meeting Postponement
Dear Residents,
Due to the COVID 19 virus, and on the advice from counsel, the Board has decided to postpone the Annual Meeting of Trailhead residents scheduled for June 7, 2020.
The board will inform residents of a new date, when the order to limit gatherings of groups of ten or more has been lifted by Governor DeWine.
If you have not already turned in your Proxy, please do so at your earliest convenience. Place it in the HOA Community Mailbox, to the left of the mailbox cluster.
