Hi Trailheaders,
Hope this January 2013 newsletter finds everyone warm and snug in your great Trailhead homes. Things are not exactly quiet at Trailhead, but we’re also not hanging out at the street corner chatting and socializing!
News is slim this month so we’ll get right to it. As you may recall, Rod Rouse resigned as Chair of the Landscape Committee and Bill Sweeny has kindly stepped into that role. We have added a new member to the committee so there are 3 residents on it: Chair, Bill Sweeny, Mary Wnek and newcomer Karen Angiocchi. For those of you who haven’t met Karen and her husband Mark, they purchased the Little’s house a few months ago. If there are any other residents who would like to help out with the committees, please contact Laura Goepfert (mgoep@aol.com). The 2 other committees are Design and Review and Social. We are always happy to have new members, so don’t be shy!
The Board would like to remind you to take time to review our website occasionally as there are updates and notices, in addition to the rules and regulations that we live by here at Trailhead Village – just to refresh our memories, especially in this frigid weather! trailheadvillage.com. We have had some feedback from residents about the rule concerning leaving your garage door open for extended periods of time. Remember that garage doors must be closed except for ingress and egress or purposeful activity. Please refer to section C of the Rules and Regulations, under “environment of common areas”. In addition, a reminder that according to the rules and regulations, all Christmas lights are to be removed no later than 2 weeks after New Year’s Day. Please refer to section D under Home/Lot Restrictions of the rules and regs.
Speaking of the website, Brad has been working on cleaning it up and making certain areas easier to use. He has also begun work on a private residents section where we will be able to have newsletters and documents posted.
As we’re sure you have noticed, there is a sold sign on lot 29. A dig date has not been set yet. Katie had nothing to report concerning additional sales for this month.
On a sad note, one of our residents, Shirley Nash, passed away on January 12. She was a fun and vibrant woman who will be missed by many, especially at our yearly fall picnic.
That about covers everything…..stay warm!
